Welcome to the Truth Booth, an innocuous-looking hut located not too far from the house, though you have to pass through a rather dense copse of palm trees and you can only make this journey with one other person.

Completely at odds with the outward appearance, the inside of the hut has white tiled floors and an almost clinical appearance. Those wishing to test their compatibility for the week must clasp hands and stand in the center of the room, where they will be scanned to determine whether they are (or not) a Perfect Match. Facing them is a screen displaying their Highly Flattering Pictures and when the scanning is complete, the truth will also flash on their screen.

So step right up. It's the only way to know for sure.

[The music is truly bewildering, though not terrible. Cyrus' eyebrows arch in pleasant surprise, then in mild confusion when he turns to find that Aoko looks as if she's been turned to stone.]

Aoko . . . ?

[She turns to face him, cheeks flushed, and hands threaded together before her--and she shuffles in place, sheepish and awkward and--

Quietly, as a murmur:]

... I'm... r-really, really glad.

[aldaft]

[He brings his hands up each of her arms and over her shoulders, where he gives her a reassuring squeeze after closing his eyes in brief thought.]

As am I. Now, shall we rejoin the others in celebration of the good news?

[She shuffles in place a moment more, threading her fingers and unthreading them--

And then she nods.]

Right, yeah. [DEEP BREATH. And a smile.] Let's go back.

[Aoko's heart houses many intense emotions; this, he knows. He allows her the moment she needs, nods at her reply, then retrieves a hand and moves the other hand to her upper back so that they may leave together, putting the uplifting music behind them.]
