Welcome to the Truth Booth, an innocuous-looking hut located not too far from the house, though you have to pass through a rather dense copse of palm trees and you can only make this journey with one other person.

Completely at odds with the outward appearance, the inside of the hut has white tiled floors and an almost clinical appearance. Those wishing to test their compatibility for the week must clasp hands and stand in the center of the room, where they will be scanned to determine whether they are (or not) a Perfect Match. Facing them is a screen displaying their Highly Flattering Pictures and when the scanning is complete, the truth will also flash on their screen.

So step right up. It's the only way to know for sure.

ZAGREUS + RUFUS SHINRA

[ Happy Friday! The Overseer makes a brief appearance at the house, to announce that the votes have been tallied, the development team had to then flip a coin and Zagreus and Rufus Shinra are to be the first couple to enter the Truth Booth. She wishes them luck and departs, and our lucky couple are now allowed to depart the house and follow a palm tree-lined trail towards a Mysterious Hut. What awaits them? ]

[Well, what a nice turn of events. Rufus is pleasantly surprised that the votes happened to skew his way, and he gestures at Zagreus, indicating the direction of the palm-tree lined path they should take.]

Walk and talk?

[Already, he’s falling into step, but he does liger just long enough for the other to meander beside him.]

First week, and already front and center stage. [Figuratively speaking.] Think it’ll really be so easy?

[A perfect match from the start? Well, he won't complain if that’d be the case.]

[ With the offer of walking while they talk, he nods, falling right into pace of Rufus. Honestly, there is something very appealing of how the man takes the lead like this. ]

The Overseer makes a brief appearance at the house, to announce that the votes have been tallied, and eking out a win after scoring a date through their diligent efforts are Cyrus Albright and Aoko Sato. She wishes them luck and departs, and our lucky couple are now allowed to depart the house and follow a palm tree-lined trail towards a Mysterious Hut. What awaits them? ]

[She presses a hand to her chest when they're chosen, blinking a little, and glancing around at everyone.

[This outcome isn't entirely surprising after last week's ceremony. Cyrus rises to his feet and faces Aoko. Knowing his track record with such things, he dares not offer an arm.]

Week 2

The Overseer makes a brief appearance at the house, to announce that the votes have been tallied, and earning a landslide win after scoring a date through their diligent efforts are Ash and Rufus Shinra. She wishes them luck and departs, and our lucky couple are now allowed to depart the house and follow a palm tree-lined trail towards a Mysterious Hut. What awaits them? ]

So now they have faith in me, huh? [ Yes, that is how he is choosing to take this. Ash looks at the hut ahead and then to Rufus with one of his usual smiles.

He's kinda reminded of their ziplining together, though this is a different sort of diving into unknown waters. ]

[Much like leaping off from great heights, Rufus is also familiar with making this trek to the Truth Booth. He shrugs a shoulder in Ash’s direction, then steps froward, fine with taking the lead.]

Faith and strategy are closely related in a game like this.

[For all his flippancy, though, Rufus does reach out to place a hand on Ash’s shoulder as they move, if he allows it.]

Doesn’t matter, either way. I’m glad we were chosen. I’ve been looking forward to this.

Week 3

She wishes them luck and departs, and our lucky couple are now allowed to depart the house and follow a palm tree-lined trail towards a Mysterious Hut. What awaits them? ]

[ To say she isn't nervous would be a lie, as stepping into the booth is something she's both eager for and terrified of. What if the results-?

No, no. She can't think like that now. They've come so far together. She steps out the door, turning to Sara and offering her a hand. Perhaps the contact will put them both at ease. ]

Hah... would you think less of me if I said "no"?

[ Said with mild humour, as she slips her hand into Blaze's. ]

But yes, I am prepared for any possibility. Let us face this together, whatever the outcome may be.

pt. 2 MARCILLE DONATO + DIAMOND

[ Later in the day, the Overseer returns-- this time to take Marcille and Diamond with a gentle nod. Off you go on the path, you two! ]

[ If they feel nervous about this, they're trying their very best not to show it. Maybe because they get the sense that Marcille will feel nervous enough for them both... they keep their expression serene while the two of them get led away from the group and towards the booth, looking over at their companion to check on how she's doing. ]

It looks like our strategy worked out in the end... [ They say, with a hint of lightness - their gloved hand grazes her arm softly in comfort. ] We really will get to know for sure.

Week 4

[ Happy Friday! The Overseer makes a brief appearance at the house, to announce that the votes have been tallied, and the first Truth Booth Couple in this round of two is Jeritza and Rufus. She wishes them luck (with a sympathetic smile at Rufus) and departs, and our lucky couple are now allowed to depart the house and follow a palm tree-lined trail towards a Mysterious Hut. What awaits them? ]

[ Well, it has finally taken until the last week for Jeritza to personally experience this place. In the end, he doesn't seem all that bothered by the fact, and moves forward.

He's still not a relatively good conversationalist, so he'll only say this to start them off as they're walking: ]

pt.2 JOHNNY JOESTAR + MILLA

[ The Overseer returns later in the evening, this time to guide Johnny and Milla. And by guide, I mean she calmly points at the path, beautifully lit by tiki lanterns, and wishes them good luck.

[ well, here we go. Johnny's got his hands shoved in his pockets, looking, once again, resigned. He gives Milla small nod that's almost more of a gesture with his chin, beginning to walk with his slightly uneasy gait. ]

Man... This all ended up being a big mess.

[ his sour attitude isn't directed at Milla, though. ]
