Welcome to a new week, lovebirds! Monday dawns gray and misty, and it's actually not long before a thunderstorm rolls in! You can, of course, kiss dramatically in the yard in the rain and risk getting struck by lightning-- or you can stay inside, cuddle in the conversation pit, USE THE GODDAMN BOOM BOOM ROOM or do anything else until the storm blows over by the evening! Don't worry, the rest of the week will be bright and sunny and beautiful!

There's also a new section of the house, weirdly enough! There's a bright turquoise door located near the bedroom and opening it leads to... a massive indoor pool. The water is a pleasant temperature, there's a hot tub, there's an assortment of flotation devices for those of you who might have trouble swimming (tubes, life vests, boogie boards, pool noodles that can also be used to wage Deadly Combat if you are Sara and Kasque or Jeritza or anyone else ready for Violence). And if you somehow didn't pack a swimsuit because why on earth would your canon let you have one--

Worry not!! There's a rack of swimsuits in every size you lot could need! The catch (or not): they're all sexy. Like. Barely there sexy. Impossibly adhering to you sexy. Shoelaces would maybe cover more sexy. Absolutely great to play Chicken Fight in sexy. You get the idea.

Anything having to do with being able to write is still also Not Present.

Think the point of it is to enjoy it and have fun with some silly little game. Simple things in life and all that. Maybe focus on the part you enjoy the most and run with it.

[ He tilts his head a little in thought at her floating. ]

Wonder if they have any rules about not actually doing the race proper. Aside from the kissing, of course.

Doesn't seem like they care about us racing so much as fumbling around in low-key bondage for a while. As long as we do that it's probably fine.

Perhaps you're right about that. Best give them the show that they're interested in, then. Make it worth everyone's time.

Mmm... Yeah, alright. It's a pain, but if we're going to do this, we may as well go hard.

[ Kasque places her hand on Zagreus's shoulder "for balance" (she is still floating and does not seem to be the slightest bit unbalanced). With a gesture, the ribbon she's holding and a few others combine move to wind themselves around both their legs from thigh to ankle, wrapping them tightly together and finishing with a large bow. ]

[ He watches her little trick with the ribbon, so fancy. ]

Quite the party trick you've got there. Now, how would you prefer we do this? A little more contact or just get on with it?

[ She already has a number of ribbons wrapped around her body as a fashion statement, what's a few more? ]

Hm.

[ She lifts her free leg across and hooks it around Zagreus's opposite hip, so she's turned in and leaning against his side. It wouldn't be a very secure position if she weighed anything, but fortunately she's still weightless. ]

Something like that should do it, right...?

[ With this position, he slips his arm around her to help hold her there in place. Not that she seems to need the help, but no reason not to. ]

Seems perfect to me.

[ With that, he starts toward the first cone on their path. ]

Comfortable?

Oh, very.

[ It's actually still a little awkward to have her leg pulled along with Zagreus's as she walks, twisting her hips in a weird direction and tangling her several layers of skirt, but she settles back against his arm with a comfortable posture, slides her arm further around his shoulders, and goes along with it anyway. ]

[ He'll try to accommodate that so it's not so awkward for her, but it is a bit hard with their positioning. Either way, they're at the first cone! ]

We're here for our first stop.

Mm, is this meant to be first base, do you think? In that case, things are going to get seriously spicy by the fifth one, huh?

[ Kasque does not wait for an answer to that question before she leans in closer, her other hand settling on his chest as she brings their lips together. ]

[ Zagreus is about to answer, but just as he parts his lips, she plants a kiss on him. He returns the kiss in stride, no reason to leave a lady hanging. ]

[ If they've got four more to go, there's no sense escalating things too quickly. Kasque parts her lips against his and lingers at the kiss for a leisurely few moments, but she pulls back after that, mouth curved in a small smile. ]

[ The smile is echoed back at her. Not bad at all. ]

On to the next!

[ And he's trekking on to the next cone in stride! ]

Mm, let's go.

[ She says, but she's still just riding along. ]

[ He's making sure not to make it be over too quick. For the audience, of course. Can't let the viewers be disappointed. ]

Have you gotten the chance to enjoy the pool yet?

[ It's not really small talk, but he is curious if she's made her way there as of yet. ]

[ Kasque keeps her hand lightly on his chest for this leg of the race. ]

I chilled out there for a bit. Nothing too wild.

Maybe we could spend some time later together to enjoy the water.

[ He, too, has spent a little time there, but not an extensive amount. He'd love to have more time there. ]

Hmmm... I guess that could be fun.

What other kinds of thing do you find fun?

[ You know, to figure out more about each other. If they have things in common behind godhood and being open to close encounters. ]

[ Kasque traces a finger across his chest as she considers that question for a while before answering. ]

Anything... mm, spontaneous? Stuff where I can just do whatever. I'm not going to get really serious or competitive.

That sounds like a pretty fun way to go about things.

[ He does like the sound of that. And they're at the next cone, if they care for another smooching. ]

Mm, it does. I don't actually get to do it as much as I'd like. This isn't bad, though.

[ Stage 2 smooching! Kasque's hand caresses down Zagreus's side as she leans up to kiss him more deeply. ]
