Welcome to a new week, lovebirds! Monday dawns gray and misty, and it's actually not long before a thunderstorm rolls in! You can, of course, kiss dramatically in the yard in the rain and risk getting struck by lightning-- or you can stay inside, cuddle in the conversation pit, USE THE GODDAMN BOOM BOOM ROOM or do anything else until the storm blows over by the evening! Don't worry, the rest of the week will be bright and sunny and beautiful!

There's also a new section of the house, weirdly enough! There's a bright turquoise door located near the bedroom and opening it leads to... a massive indoor pool. The water is a pleasant temperature, there's a hot tub, there's an assortment of flotation devices for those of you who might have trouble swimming (tubes, life vests, boogie boards, pool noodles that can also be used to wage Deadly Combat if you are Sara and Kasque or Jeritza or anyone else ready for Violence). And if you somehow didn't pack a swimsuit because why on earth would your canon let you have one--

Worry not!! There's a rack of swimsuits in every size you lot could need! The catch (or not): they're all sexy. Like. Barely there sexy. Impossibly adhering to you sexy. Shoelaces would maybe cover more sexy. Absolutely great to play Chicken Fight in sexy. You get the idea.

Anything having to do with being able to write is still also Not Present.

Quite right. The body must be fed before the mind can reap the benefits. It must be strange, having access to so much in one place.

..All of this is strange. The surplus of food is the least confusing bit of it, really.

[ Trevor may know what electricity is, but his understanding and knowledge of it is so rudimentary it's barely aiding him to the fact that on top of the food there is.. Heaters? That aren't fire? On demand cold? ]

You don't find any of this odd?

[His smile widens.)

Fascinating, is it not? The technology of this estate is far removed from that of Orsterra. So many questions come to mind . . . If only I could have them answered!

[swinish]

[ Before he questions the whole Orsterra thing, Trevor pointedly glances towards the cameramen hovering around them. With a faint smile to his lips, ]

Have you tried asking them, by chance?

[Cyrus follows the glance to the cameraman, who pause very briefly.]

I have. The cameras they're holding broadcast our interactions to a larger audience for worldwide consumption. Could you have imagined such a powerful invention before coming here? I certainly couldn't.

[ All considering photos weren't a thing where he's from.......... No. ]

Not really.. In fact, I'm not sure what's so entertaining about watching a couple of strangers live together.

Is it so surprising? We read books and watch plays that tell all sorts of stories, be they fiction or non. Surely there are stranger premises than this.

[swinish]

[ Trevor turns to stare hard at Cyrus.. Stop making sense!!! ]

No premise can be stranger than one with a Boom Boom Room.

[Cyrus greets Trevor with a smile. Hello.]

Ahaha, I confess that I felt similarly at first. However, on second thought, it seems an appropriate addition for one of our two goals at hand.

[ He'll concede to that, if only because asking Cyrus if he's going to use the Boom Boom Room would make the cameramen too happy and Trevor is not about that. Instead, he decides to ask, ]

Quite well, thank you. I've learned so much, and I have more to learn still! Coming here was indeed the correct choice.

Are you documenting it for your people when you return?

I am, yes. I believe knowledge of all forms should be shared with everyone. There are certain facets of this estate that are sure to stir the hearts of scholars the realm over.
