Happy Saturday, lovebirds!

When you step out into the common room, you'll find a note from the Overseer, along with more food! This time, it appears to be everyone's favorite dish from their homes, regardless of how unusual or unorthodox that food might be. Perhaps you could explain it to your housemates?

The note reads, simply:

Welcome to another Saturday, everyone. This week, the gentlemen (sans our fortunate friend Cyrus) will be deciding who they believe their Perfect Match is. Please remember that if you do not achieve at least one beam of light per week, excluding a Truth Booth match, one of you will be chosen at random to lose your wish-- that is effective beginning this week.

As before, feel free to discuss or spend the day bonding and enjoying each other's company. Some of you have yet to speak with each other. A pity, I feel.

After this weekend, Cyrus Albright and Aoko Sato will be moving into the Honeymoon Suite.

I dunno who I'm picking yet. [ and that would be why! ] But we can make some guesses on pairs. For starters, I'm pretty sure those two have a thing going on.

I don't want to put you on the spot or anything, but... do you have anyone in mind that you'd want to pick? It might be helpful to plan it out so there aren't people trying to pick the same person...

[ Ash is sitting somewhere he shouldn't be (probably on one of the tables), a plate of cake in one hand and a piece of country bread in the other. ]

There's nothing to figure out on my end. I'm picking Rufus.

... Is there a reason to announce such things? Would everyone not simply follow their personal desires?

I think those two might be the most difficult to figure out. They're compatible with several people, because of their personalities and looks. If I was going to choose who I thought were most likely, I wouldn't start with them...

[ This is their honest opinion!! Too many variables... ]

Well, now. I thought about choosing Ash, but it seems like I could be stirring the pot by doing so.

[He doesn’t look terribly bothered by that.]

[She's spent a lot of time with her eyes mostly closed, playing an easy rhythm on one of her arms or the nearest surface; fingers light enough not to make too much sound that disturbs, but deliberate enough that musicians would probably recognize the motions of mimicking piano playing.

Other than that, she's just got this bottle of throat spray and apparently a whole lot of romantic drama on the communal plate. She does not have a plate, she is just short of taste-testing. Anyway:]

We seem to have had fairly good luck following our results from last week's matches, or at the very least a good deal of interaction. And since we have found one match, that gives us a better chance of not falling behind this week.

So I think... choosing based more simply on personal judgment, more than group dynamics, may still be a good way to do this.
