When you step out into the common room, you'll find the Overseer chilling there, and she has with her a very vivid selection of cupcakes.

"Hello, everyone. Welcome to the final weekend. Kasque, Cassius, Ash. You will be the ones making your choices this time.

Should you succeed tomorrow, all beams of light will be lit, and all of your wishes will be granted. Should you fail... well, we'll go from there.

I wish you all the best of luck."

[ OOC: The aforementioned, please submit your votes here by 11 PM EST tonight. Also, the cupcakes are a little special. Eating the ones with pink frosting will make you want to kiss the person you feel the most affection for. Eating the ones with purple frosting will make you want to do something Bold with the first person you see (whatever form that takes is up to you). Eating the ones with blue frosting will make you want to confess-- a truth, a sin, what your wish is, your love. Whatever. Eating the ones with red frosting-- well. They're fine. They're normal. Very delicious.

If you're not into eating cupcakes, be careful, because just getting a whiff of one will give you that compulsion. We All Suffer Together. ]

[ Well, here's Cassius and Val with the expected plate of Every Color Cupcakes in front of him. There is already an empty cupcake wrapper next to him. (What color was it? Only one way to find out!) He is happily working his way through cupcake number 2 right now.

At some later point, after he moseys on over to Kasque and Ash: ]

Will the two of you be confirming your matches from last week?

[ ooc: if you want a cupcake effect, put the color in your subject line and we'll go from there, otherwise i will be defaulting to nice regular red. ]

[ Cupcakes... Ash is eyeing them but he hasn't taken any yet. ]

You mean with who it has to be with me, right? [ Since his match was with Rufus and he is still annoyed at the truth booth for that. His expression is pretty neutral all things considered, so at least there's that. ]

Hmmmmm... There's not really anything left to do but that, right? Everything's pretty much confirmed now. How boring.

[ Kasque sighs heavily. ]

Though, I guess, do I get two picks? Or am I supposed to pick my favorite?

[Let's see what he does when given a purple cake, though. Marcille can have whatever cake he'd allow her to actually take off of the platter.

Back from her week of honeymooning on the other side of the island, Marcille is relieved to see everything mostly still intact. She definitely didn't try to spy on them at any point during the week without revealing herself to make sure they weren't getting into any trouble!

Maybe the mood this week can even be a little more relaxed... As she casually approaches Cassius, she leans around his shoulder to get a peek at the cupcakes.]

You saved some for everyone else, right? Do they come recommended?

[It's a little like coming full circle. At the very first ceremony, his food recommendations had come just when she was getting to know him a little better. It's hard to be nostalgic for something that happened such a short while ago, and yet it feels as if everyone's gone through so much since then.]

[ And here comes Trevor, moseying over because he wants the GOSS and doesn't particularly want to ask either of the two who have to pick their matches juuust yet. He's holding his own cupcake, frosted with red icing and not yet bit into yet. He looks impressed at the fact Cassius has already eaten a full one before he could start, but not enough to distract him from asking: ]

[ It's been a while but today Ash is in his full armor, sword at his hip. Remembering your roots is important, or maybe it's all that battle talk lately... either way he seems to be doing just fine, though it looks like the cupcakes have his attention more than anything else. He selects a blue one, to match his eyes, but he can probably be talked into a different color since just one cupcake isn't enough, naturally. ]

Hey, did you try one of these yet? [ There is the ceremony and matches to discuss, but of course he's not going to talk about that right now. ]

[They have all day to talk about them, so Cyrus sees no reason to rush as he shakes his head.]

I haven't yet had the opportunity to do so. How is it?

[Huh, it's like the first time they met. He remembers fanboying the armor back then! He's gotten so used to everyone's fantasy genre by now that at this point it's the bright blue cupcake that looks out of place.]

[Yoosung is wearing a suit, since - foregone conclusions or not - the final ceremony still feels monumental. The cupcakes he puts on his plate are mostly red as a rose, though there's a single pink one in the mix to compliment the Aesthetic.]

Let's go with the colors of luck and love.

[He's honestly very nervous inside, but he'll make a good straightman with all this red! Maybe your wacky cupcake antics will calm him down.]

Wow, you made your plate look so pretty! [The aesthetic is definitely romantic and intentional. It's nice to see Yoosung in (externally) better spirits now, and she's happy just to chat with him.] And you're dressed up, too, aren't you? When you think about it, this is a really fancy occasion...

[Though she's saving her really nice dress for the morning, Marcille has come back from the honeymoon suite sporting nice jumpsuit for the occasion. The romantic connection is obvious, but...]

[ our newest no-longer-confirmed-bachelor is enjoying a celebratory treat with the rest, content in the knowledge he will not have to vote! And by that I mean "he's sitting on a chair by himself just kind of watching everyone else." There's a tired but hard look on his face, which is a weird expression to have while eating a cute blue cupcake, but that's what he's doing.

Feel free to comfort him. Or make fun of him!? Or both. ]

... They better not screw this up...

I'm greedy, not stupid. [ Ash isn't grumpy, but he's not exactly thrilled either. He can drop the smile in present company, at least. ]

[Cyrus is here to simply spend time with Johnny as he strolls up, smiling amiably.]

[ what is worse. deliberately avoiding johnny, or deliberately talking to johnny... well, given she's been glancing over at him and that expression on his face (potentially getting caught in the process), she doesn't have much choice but to do the latter.

the former is definitely worse, in that case... she's lingered too much on the choice already, so. ]

... I doubt anyone here wants to lose their wish. Or get subjected to a bunch of angry complaining.

[ Hello, Johnny, they're speaking from right behind you, leaning over on the side to get a good look at him. They seem to be doing well with their usual vague but bright smile, looking down at that blue cupcake curiously. ]

When you think about it, this was a considerable puzzle to solve over just five weeks. Given the odds, what we managed to accomplish was really outstanding! I'm really proud of everyone.

[She's extremely confident about the way things are going to end now, and that confidence fills her with exuberant bluster. Marcille looks like she's been getting her fair share of sun this week. Maybe a little too much? It's fine; she's pale, so it's just a healthy glow. Healthy pink glow. Just be careful when touching her and nothing will go wrong!

She's wearing a classy blue jumpsuit, so to match the color theme she's defaulting to blue cupcake consumption. However, Marcille isn't picky, and will eat dealer's choice cupcake color on request.

Just kidding! Any of the cupcake flavors will make her embarrassing. Even the red ones! Somehow!]

People's reasons for coming together here were all different... but, when it comes down to it, I think we learned to be a strong team. Don't you?

[Anyone who doesn't catch her sharing this impromptu, possibly cupcake-fueled love bomb might find her elsewhere around the house, perhaps turning the twister spinner every which way to try and analyze it, lounging just outside the door and looking at the sky, or any number of "come bother her!" scenarios.]

[Given that they both came from the honeymoon suites, Cyrus gravitates to the rest of the contestants for the beginning of the discussion. He doesn't pass up the chance to chat once their paths cross later, smiling brightly as he catches sight of her.]

Ah, Marcille. You look lovely today. Is the cupcake to your taste?

[ Luckily for both of them, Trevor is eating a cupcake frosted with red icing. It at least matches his handkerchief, tucked into the breast pocket of his jacket (he's decided to go Fancy™ this round, due to peer pressure from everyone else looking nice). He sniffs it and takes a bite, ]

We sure are some sort of team.

[ It's a comment that he doesn't mean to come out sounding Some Sort Of Way, so he corrects himself near immediately, smile sheepish. ]

I, erm, don't mean that in a bad way.

[ ... it sure is the end. milla's sitting on the side picking at a cupcake, feeling incredibly tired now that the mess of this entire thing is nearing its conclusion. truth booth bullshit included.

she'd had no plans for after this thing when she first started, but now she's got so many of them that she's not sure what to do. at least she can focus on frosting for now, or how to peel away a wrapper in the most excruciatingly slow way possible to keep herself busy without having to snack on more cupcakes than she needs to.

without looking up from that, she asks idly: ]

I'd rather not think about most of it. [ Did he just eat a purple cupcake or is this Ash being Ash? Either way, he is being honest. ]

[ Kasque doesn't need to eat, but she has been doing some over the last few weeks anyway, and the cupcakes seem special? And focusing her attention on them is better than some other topics. She picks one up to look it over. (Color of choice, or I'll pick one.) ]

...Wow, these really smell like pure sugar up close.
