Welcome to your final week, lovebirds(???)!

The weather is perfect, nothing funky going on this week. The house might feel a little more spacious with less people in it after last week, but. It's fine. Things are slowly coming to a close, after all.

But not before two new rooms have appeared in the house. One room leads into a very impressive home movie theater, complete with popcorn maker and concession stand for the true moviegoer experience. A variety of movies will always be playing, from old westerns, black-and-white classics, Oscar nominations, and animated flicks. Also romcoms. Duh.

For those who wish to be a bit more active, the other new room is a little colder because-- it's an ice-skating rink. There are skates in everyone's size and a few padded benches by a vending machine that will dispense hot drinks if you need to warm up.

Anything having to do with being able to write remains Sir Not Appearing In This Show.

[ Yeah he has his priorities...and he is still aiming for his "wish". It's actually a rather selfish one, but who cares.

...I've decided not to let the results bother me unnecessarily. As for the others...their actions speak for themselves, but I didn't occupy my attention with anyone else besides Milla and Yoosung.

[ Anyway, Jeritza will see how things look at the end of this, but what matters is that he has said what he thought he'd never be able to say to anyone. So, he feels...free. No more regrets.

It won't be long now, at any rate. ]

I wasn't all that friendly with Yoosung either, but I can see why it would trouble you.

[ Since they're friends, from what he can tell? ]

Not even Johnny? [ You're a better man than him, or maybe just an exceptionally focused one. ]

...if it was like last week with well, Johnny, I could just ignore it. And it's not like Trevor expected anything on the "date" either. But with Yoosung it's, yeah. [ He's kind of allergic to saying friend even if he isn't a tsun, so Jertiza will have to read between the lines. ]

What about Johnny?

[ He doesn't quite care that the game considers Johnny and Milla a match...well, not anymore. He enjoyed his time with Milla, and he told her in no uncertain terms how he felt, that he'd choose her. She didn't seem affronted, to put it simply.

Anyway, Jeritza can see the friendship plainly, already having made the assumption. He will, however, spare Ash this one time and not explicitly say the obvious. ]

It'll still be rough for you both, then. But, consider it another battle you'll have to push past. You are already practically at the finish line.

[ Ash can't help but laugh a bit at the question mirrored back to him. ]

I guess I didn't pay him much attention either. [ So moving on! ]

Yeah I mean, I'll be fine. [ That's why he left in the first place, to distance himself and set himself straight. ] I don't know about him, though.

[ Well at least he does believe Ash that he'll be fine. It really is the last stretch; it'd be different if he had a tantrum like this week one or something. ]

I can't imagine this bothering Rufus much.

Though, if you're truly concerned, you can always approach him about it to gauge how he feels.

[ Among other things (sorry not sorry.) ]

Oh, uh, not him, Yoosung. Me and Rufus have things figured out. [ He scratches his cheek, it's odd saying that still. ]

Yoosung really wanted uh, love, from all of this?

[ Well, then that makes sense. In that case, Jeritza doesn't know either. ]

It seems like he did.

Are you confused by that?

Yeah? [ No, he's definitely confused about it. ] Isn't talk like that usually reserved for princesses or fair maidens in fairy tales?

[ He feels like he's missing something. ]

No. There are those like Yoosung in real life as well.

I find it unsurprising that there are those who would look anywhere for love.

[ Probably because he can't talk, given his original reason for coming here. ]

The only people I've met like that are kids. [ His world is pretty rough, actually. ]

But either way, it's not like I'm like that at all. So why pair us together?

Why not?

[ Not that he is really asking it seriously. It's just rhetorical. ]

You two appear to contrast, yet get along, and so perhaps it was viewed that you had the potential to come close. They could've imagined your attitude would bring Yoosung back down from his fantasies or unrealistic expectations, or some other reason.

But, even so, what does it matter? Yoosung will need to move forward. Life is unfair and it will continue to be so. This is no different.

...I have enough to worry 'bout already. I can't support someone like that when I have Mar to take care of. [ It just kind of spills out there, the honest truth: there's a lot of reasons he doesn't think they work in as a pair in that sense, but this is the biggest one.

His reasoning is both selfish and in some facet, selfless. If Ash is selfish, most people won't see beyond that, which is the entire point. He's not a large person, but he can make himself a target, even through unscrupulous means. Because he can deal with it, because he will be fine and wear a smile as easily as a tabbard. ]

[ He doesn't know who or what Mar is, but he can infer from the other man's tone that Mar requires a lot of support, time, and affection. ]

Not that I've judged your decision, but it's clear you have another reason for it. Besides the incompatibility.

This does not change my previous response on the matter, either.

A lot of people think I'm lying I think, but usually my problem is with honesty... [ He huffs and shakes his head. ]

Hopefully I get to skip the date this week.
