❤ Week 4 Mingle

Welcome to your final week, lovebirds(???)!

The weather is perfect, nothing funky going on this week. The house might feel a little more spacious with less people in it after last week, but. It's fine. Things are slowly coming to a close, after all.

But not before two new rooms have appeared in the house. One room leads into a very impressive home movie theater, complete with popcorn maker and concession stand for the true moviegoer experience. A variety of movies will always be playing, from old westerns, black-and-white classics, Oscar nominations, and animated flicks. Also romcoms. Duh.

For those who wish to be a bit more active, the other new room is a little colder because-- it's an ice-skating rink. There are skates in everyone's size and a few padded benches by a vending machine that will dispense hot drinks if you need to warm up.

Anything having to do with being able to write remains Sir Not Appearing In This Show.

[Yoosung is still recovering from the events of the ceremony, and attempting self reflection kind of makes him want to crawl in a hole for the rest of the week. He sleeps in, way in after everyone else has gotten out of bed, and stays in his bunk even longer just to be alone with his games. But eventually he needs food and hears the movie theater on the way back from the kitchen. You can catch him making a burger for lunch, but otherwise he'll basically hole up in there indefinitely. This was the perfect time for it to show up, he can kill boredom and not think too hard about things.

He consumes a variety, though all are romantic since that's just his taste no matter what. Interested as he watches The Princess Bride. Melancholy watching 500 Days of Summer. Musically Entertained And Emotionally Conflicted watching Moulin Rouge (cries at the end.) At least there are a few smiles in there, though a lot of parts where he hugs his plushie sheep tight too. Yeah, he brought it with him. He's lonely, okay?]

[ milla is definitely the type to talk through movies, so maybe her being around isn't the best thing for yoosung. but she's here anyway, looking around curiously and then moving to stand beside him when she catches sight of him between movies.

this stuff is foreign. the stove is a convenience that aligns with her interests despite her tentative nature with technology. this... less so. ]

... Is this seat taken?

Oh, um, go ahead... [Milla is certainly not unwelcome! Even if she was letting Johnny kinkshame him?! He likes her well enough, and he doesn't seem completely focused on the movie he's watching anyway. In fact, he's looking all the way down into his popcorn, almost like he's searching it for something sour snuck in with the rest.]

I'm honestly not sure I should even be watching this one though.

[I mean, putting aside that the lady is a bit sexy, Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend?! Seems kinda insensitive when they've been living with one!]

[ After his vanishing act during the ceremony, Ash is around the house this week as you would expect of him. If you see him in the hallways or around (mostly he lingers about the kitchen waiting for someone to cook since the status of him and the refrigerator is still Unknown) he'll give you a cheerful wave and a smile, but he won't actually engage further. For a chatterbox like him it might seem a bit odd, but hey he's around and present and that's what counts, right?

Aside from his wanderings to secure food, he can largely be found spending his time outside, gazing out to the sea. ]

[ Well, this week has sure been a turn. Jeritza himself doesn't seem more inclined to speak to anyone than usual, though he is definitely far less morose than he has been when this whole thing started. Not...that he looks like it; he looks and sounds just about the same as ever.

It helps that he still hates entertaining conversation with most people still. Anyway, here he is, finding Ash here, like this. ]

So this is where you have been.

[ It's Jeritza vibe week now obviously! Ash offers him a friendly wave as per usual, but blinks a little at the other man's words. ]

Whad'ya mean? It's not like any of us can actually leave even if we wanted to. [ Calmly glosses over his stage left exit at the ceremony.]

[ if ash is going to linger around the kitchen, he'll certainly meet milla there. there doesn't seem to be a visible shift in her expression when she sees him, but she does note his state mentally.

... were she so sure she wouldn't mess it up astronomically, she'd offer some kind of reassurance. for now, all she can say is: ]

Convenient. I was looking for a guinea pig to feed.

[ because, you know. he's obviously doing her a favor. ]

[ Ash beams. ]

You know you can't poison me, right? [ He is already grabbing a bowl no matter what she's making. ]

[If one person’s going to notice the quieter turn of attitude, it’s going to be Rufus, who approaches—still sans coat—with an inquisitive look.]

Hmmm, I'll never turn down money but I'd accept other forms of payment from you. [ His look is met with a smile, one of his usual ones, though there's something brighter in it. As much as he may be trying to stay away from others, this doesn't apply in present company. ]

[ just lowkey. milla's stolen some popcorn from the popcorn maker to the couches in the common area. no movies to be had here, no. unless you count the view of the yard as a fitting replacement for discovery channel or something.

but given the completely neutral expression while she pops some popcorn in her mouth and stares, that's not really catching her attention. ]

... It's quiet.

[ maybe she'll miss the couch. ]

[ here is milla, the picture of grace. her fighting style is full of twirls and spins and pizazz, you see. so, this couldn't possibly be this hard. mentally, she's thinking the following: she uses a blade to fight, and that's easy as pie. she's just... moving the blade to her feet.

judging from the way she's gripping onto the barrier of the rink for dear life, this is not the case. ]

Ice is stupid. Who invented this sport?

[ she's stranded....... maybe she'll just wait until everyone's gone and then crawl her way out. ]

[ You know what Jeritza would like for there to be? More animal companions again. Like the cats who had arrived last time.

Anyway, they're in the same house, so they'll come across each other, and when she speaks up, he'll acknowledge her. ]

Used to the racket from the louder ones?

[ oh, agreed. cute, fat cats. please, overseer.

but for now there's just a jeritza and a milla, who scoots over a bit in a silent invitation for him to sit. for once, she doesn't startle from acknowledgement where she expects none.

even the stirring reminder of something she has to do at the sound of his voice doesn't shake her, though she willingly knows she'll push it as long as she can. ]

Mm. Maybe. Given the nature of the game, I can't be surprised this is the atmosphere from the people who are left...

[ milla dragging everyone, herself included ]

[ Kasque is checking out the movie theater, initially watching from the doorway for a few minutes, musing to herself. ]

It's seriously a lot more involved than Vision Central, huh...? Well, no one would hang out and watch Vision Central for this long... maybe what it needs is chairs?

[ Eventually she takes a seat to watch the rest of the romcom currently playing. ]

[Yoosung is still camped out here, although maybe it's been a few too many romcoms, since he's apparently fallen asleep in one of the chairs as Kasque comes in. It was in the back row though, so she might have walked past him - just stirring him a little with her musing and steps.]

She smiles at them, bowing her head politely. ]

Hello, everyone. Welcome to your last challenge. Today, your challenge will consist of being able to understand what your partner is trying to tell you... and to give you a bit of motivation.

That is to say, Strip Charades.

[ Basically. She has a stack of cards that has either a noun or a verb. Someone acts it out while the other person gets three guesses. If they get it wrong, the guesser must remove an article of clothing. Then the roles are switched and the guesser acts out the next card. No words are allowed, just pantomiming.

[Yoosung takes the cards very carefully, as though each individual one is planning to give him a papercut.

He kind of assumed they'd have a chance to talk at the challenge..... he's not sure if this makes this more or less awkward with how things are. He and Ash have hot tubbed enough that there isn't that much new to see unless they screw up really badly. But what does he think?]

[Thankfully, Rufus is not wearing his full ensemble of layers; that might make this game a bit too lopsided in terms of who’ll find themselves bearing skin first. Well, theoretically.

So, he fans out the cards towards Jeritza, donned in just his dress shirt and tie, with his usual white slacks minus the cavalcade of belts often adorning them.]

she's looking down at the cards, looking at johnny, looking at her jrpg number of layers and... ]

... Maybe I should make another trip to the closet.

[ Kasque is actually wearing some fairly normal clothes today—a ruffled skirt and a button-down shirt with a vest over top. Normally she'd be in something a lot fancier, but with a lot less articles of clothing covering her chest. ]

...Well, it's fine. I can start on this side.

[ She picks out a card and falls silent. Then she... takes a step forward... and stops, looking around.

Is she meant to be good at charades? So her partners don't have to take their clothes off??? That doesn't seem right. ]
