❤ Week 4 Mingle

Welcome to your final week, lovebirds(???)!

The weather is perfect, nothing funky going on this week. The house might feel a little more spacious with less people in it after last week, but. It's fine. Things are slowly coming to a close, after all.

But not before two new rooms have appeared in the house. One room leads into a very impressive home movie theater, complete with popcorn maker and concession stand for the true moviegoer experience. A variety of movies will always be playing, from old westerns, black-and-white classics, Oscar nominations, and animated flicks. Also romcoms. Duh.

For those who wish to be a bit more active, the other new room is a little colder because-- it's an ice-skating rink. There are skates in everyone's size and a few padded benches by a vending machine that will dispense hot drinks if you need to warm up.

Anything having to do with being able to write remains Sir Not Appearing In This Show.

[ he didn't process it at all but it's too late now. he blinks and turns away before he can get embarrassed about it, too. ]

[ anyway. he's taking a card and staring at it for a few seconds before tucking it into one of his arm bands. Then, he proceeds to bend down and make a motion like he's picking something up at his feet with one hand, followed by standing back up (with some difficulty, judging by the wince on his face) and making a sort of underhanded-throw gesture, flicking his wrist. ]

in more than one way. what is this?? so he dropped something, and then he had to pick it up... but it's heavy. so he's flicking it away? why wouldn't he use two hands to pick it up? why is he flicking it if it's heavy??

that's gonna give him a— ]

[ mm, yeah, that's it. that's definitely it. ]

[ he doesn't say "what the fuck," but he's expressing it. With his eyes. And the rest of his face. After a vehement shake of his head, he tries again - doing the same motion of picking something up (and making sure not to bend down as far this time to spare his poor atrophied muscles), then flicking. This time, he puts his balled-up fist in the throwing hand, then makes a motion with it after it's "thrown," bouncing it up and down in the air in the direction he'd gestured in as far as his arm will reach. ]

but she'll focus on it. really, really focus on it. really, really, really focus on it, which doesn't mean anything because she's discovering she's really, really terrible at this game.

and also realizing that what she perceived as him picking up something heavy was also not part of the game. ]

[ oh!! his expression brightens! He nods, then holds up 2 fingers with one hand and gestures to the second finger with his other hand.

not as terrible as you thought, perhaps, Milla... ]

but wow the overseer is genius. get milla and johnny to stop bitching at each other by making them play a game that forces them to be silent. except they just load up all the shit they want to say and then word vomit it at the end.

anyway— (yugioh voice) draw. ]

[ ... and then she flips the card over and knits her brows together. oh, god... okay. don't show weakness, milla. your mouth talked.

[ she dusts herself off, and gets up to begin her great performance. she stands with her hands on her hips, an upset expression on her face... then moves a couple of steps to her left, facing the direction she was standing in before, shaking her head.

she moves back to the first position, putting two fingers to her chin with a pensive expression while mouthing something wordlessly, then shifts back to the secondary position and nods slowly, her hand raised parallel to the ground and rocked back and forth.

... then she moves to johnny, explains nothing (of course), and grabs his hand to give him a handshake. ]
